Itinerary
Boarding: 6:15 am
The tour starts from the main passenger pier Angermeyer, the captain of the boat will be at San Francisco Park performing passenger check-in. Then, you will board the boat to Isabela Island, the navigation will take approximately 2 hours.
Isabela Island
At 7:00 AM, the ferry departs for Isabela Island. The navigation lasts approximately 2 hours.
Breeding Center
Upon arrival, the guide will meet you outside the dock. The first place to visit is the Turtle Breeding Center, where you can see turtles of all ages and learn about the breeding and reproduction process in captivity to recover wild populations of these reptiles, which are considered endangered. Afterward, a tour of the Wetlands will be conducted to observe flamingos, pintail ducks, and other bird species.
Tintoreras Islet
In the afternoon, you will visit Tintoreras Islet, named after the white-tip sharks that rest in volcanic cracks. During the walk, you will encounter marine iguanas and sea lions. Snorkeling will be done in a bay where you can observe penguins, sea turtles, starfish, colorful fish, and small sharks.
Return to Santa Cruz
At 3:00 PM, you will take the ferry back to Santa Cruz Island.
