The duration of the trip is approximately 2 to 2:30 hours, depending on sea conditions.

In the first half of the year, from January to June, sea conditions are generally more stable compared to the second half, from July to December, when the waves are stronger.

There are only 2 authorized departure times for each island, except for Floreana Island, and they are as follows:

Travel Conditions

  • It is recommended to make your reservations at least 5 days in advance.
  • Each passenger is allowed to carry 1 carry-on backpack and 1 suitcase weighing up to 20kg.
  • If a passenger decides not to travel, they must inform the travel agency from where they purchased their ticket at least 72 hours in advance; otherwise, the ticket will lose its value, with a $5 administrative fee penalty for passenger.
  • It is recommended to arrive 50 minutes before the departure time.
  • If a passenger arrives late and misses the departure time, the ferry cannot be held responsible for the loss of their trip.
  • The water taxi port service ($1) on each island and municipal taxes on each island are not included in the ferry fare.
